A little about me, I was born in the Isle of Man. My family moved to Devon when I was six years old, and then we moved to Shropshire when I was eleven. Growing up on a farm meant I did lots of physical work and didn't really do music until I was fifteen, although I wanted to start music a lot earlier; we just didn't have the resources to do so. I was lucky enough to find a singing teacher in my village, so I started my singing lessons, where I did my Grade four and five singing and Grade five theory. When I turned sixteen, I wasn't sure what I was going to do for my A-levels as I had to move school, so my teacher suggested that I do an advice audition at Chetham's School of Music. As COVID hit, they had heard me enough, so they gave me a place at the school. I ended up taking a Gap year where I stayed at Chetham's for an extra term them went to sing as a Choral Scholar at Lancaster Priory. I then ended up going to Huddersfield University where I studied BMus Music Performance, I was a member of the Huddersfield Choral Society, and in my final year I also joined the Halle choir.
